The content of this document is automatically accepted and binding on any person entering the property of Pearl White Sands, including the premises, parking or making use of the facilities is done so entirely at person’s own risk.
To the extent permissible in law, the owners shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any death, injury or harm to any person or property and/or loss or damage whatsoever arising to any property of any person, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, however.
BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
When booking please note 50% of the total is due immediately to secure your booking, and the balance is due the week before arrival. If booking for one day the payment is due on booking.
If guests cancel their bookings during the following time frames the following applies; (except high season, this will state on your booking confirmation)
- Cancel 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the total.
- Cancel 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the total.
- Cancel 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- Cancel 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
All refunds are subject to all bank charges deducted of deposit.
IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES
Please take note of the following important house rules when making your booking:
- No babies, or children under the age of 12.
- No parties may be held on the premises.
- No smoking inside the suites or private balconies, dedicated smoking areas
- No drunken disorder or behaviour.
- No drugs or firearms.
- Parking allocated on arrival, which is limited, but there is street parking allocated for short visits or certain units if no undercover parking is available.
- Quiet times are from 22h00 – 07h00.
- Only paying guests are allowed on the property.
- Guests are to bring their own swimming towels, although we do have towels to hire if needed.
- Bath towels will be replaced every 2nd/3rd day for guests staying longer periods.
- Any breaking/ damage to property will be billed to the guests accordingly.
Check-in
Standard Check-In time is from 14H00 onwards & up to 20H00. We can accommodate earlier luggage drop offs prior to Check-In, if desired. This is must please be arranged in advance.
Electronic check-in will be sent prior to check-in please complete this form to ensure a quick check-in process.
Please make note of the important rules and information in the booklet provided in the room “Inside Information”.
Apartment/Room keys on arrival
Keys will be handed over to the Guest after Check-In administration, book in payment & deposit (for stays over 3 nights) have been received. Keys are to be kept for the duration of stay. Special arrangements for key collection on late arrivals must be made in advance.

Check-out
Check-out time is strictly between 06H00 – 10H00.
Late checkout can be accommodated (with prior notice given) until 12H00 @ an additional charge of R150 per hour or prorate to half hour (NOT in high season or if another guest is expected)
Kindly make your way to reception with your keys prior to departure and report any breakages and or damages.
We would also love to hear any suggestions on how we can make your stay more comfortable for our guests.
SERVICING
Self-catering suites do not include servicing but is available on request (Seahorse, Starfish apartment and Turtle)
- Basic daily servicing @R150 every day (not available on Sundays or public holidays) please advise prior to arrival so we can arrange or R250 for a full cleanup as required if not every day.
- We include a full service with linen change with stays of 7 days or more.
- Bath towels/sheets are provided and can be changed for clean ones at any time; however, we do request you try to limit this to every 3 days, these will be changed automatically on a service if necessary.
Starfish and Anchor rooms can enjoy daily service during the weekdays only
Mini service for Anchor only on Saturdays; Sundays and Public Holidays (mini service clean dishes; replace towels if needed; empty trash and top up on condiments included)
PRICING OF ADDITIONAL SERVICES TERMS FOR PETS
The following rules apply for pets:
- A fee of R200 per stay per dog will apply.
- Small lap dogs by prior arrangement only – Dogs must be well mannered, house trained and sociable with other dogs.
- Any damages occurred by guests’ dogs will be charged accordingly.
- Maximum of 2 small lap dogs is permitted
- Should it be agreed that your dog may stay, he/ she may not be left unattended for long periods at a time.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
- No cats, no reptiles and no birds are allowed.
